Cover Letter
I am definitely feeling more confident about this paper vs the first one. I think having the class-edit really helped me see that this paper didn't only make sense to me, other people enjoyed it too. If given more time I would have liked to put a few more sources in, and worked the Harris article in more. I did however like the flow of the ideas. I did end up taking the baby name reference out, because the more I thought about it, the more conscious I was that it may not have made sense to all readers, though I didn't really analyze it to the extent that the class did when I wrote it. I did use a lot of the tips that we talked about during the class edit, for example, taking the element of time out- so changing around the sentences a little bit so the readers wouldn't know exactly how old I was/if I were still a student. Over all, I was pretty happy with the result.
